1994 Freightliner Fl80 Fuse Box Diagram Info
Introduction
Next to or integrated into the fuse block, you will typically find 3 to 5 relays (small black cubes). These are standard ISO micro-relays. Common positions include:
- Look under the dashboard: It is usually mounted on the firewall or the kick panel area to the left of the brake pedal.
- Look behind the lower dash panel: On some models, you may need to remove a plastic cover or panel situated below the steering column to access the fuse block.
- Note: There may be a secondary Power Distribution Module (PDM) under the hood near the battery box for high-amperage items (starter, alternator), but the interior fuses control the cab electronics.
- Call Freightliner Customer Support (800-547-0712) with your VIN – they can fax/email a diagram.
- Check VIN plate (driver’s door jamb) – certain production codes match a specific wiring diagram.
- Use a test light or multimeter – Identify dead circuits by testing fuse terminals with ignition on/off.
