What Exactly is the ADN507?

1. Capacitor Placement: Place the input bypass capacitor (10 µF) within 5 mm of the input pin. Place the output capacitor (10–22 µF) similarly close.
2. Thermal Vias: If using the SOT-223 package, use an array of 6–9 thermal vias under the exposed pad to transfer heat to a copper plane on the opposite side of the board.
3. Adjustable Version: For the ADN507-ADJ, keep the feedback resistors (R1, R2) as close to the ADJ pin as possible to avoid noise pickup. Use 1% tolerance resistors for output accuracy better than 2%.
4. Enable Pin: If available, never leave the enable pin floating. Tie it directly to the input voltage (VIN) if always-on operation is desired, or control it via a GPIO.
