Single-Language Installer
This happens if you installed ArchiCAD 26 via a (common in old SOLO licenses). To fix this: archicad 26 change language
- Template Discrepancies: Opening a project started in the USA version (imperial units, American labeling standards) in the German version (metric units, DIN standards) may result in missing attributes or incorrect dimension standards.
- Library Loading: Archicad 26 relies on the Archicad Library. If a project uses objects specific to a localized library (e.g., a specific French door object) and the project is opened in a version that does not have that specific library loaded, "missing library parts" errors will occur.
- Teamwork (BIMcloud): In a Teamwork environment, the language of the local client can be changed for the user interface, but the attributes and project data remain in the language in which the project was created.

- Templates stay in the original language – Changing the interface does not auto-translate your default template or existing project elements (layer names, property names, etc.). You’ll need to load a template matching the new language.
- Libraries are language-specific – Some object names and parameters may remain in the original language until you reload the corresponding library package.
- Teamwork projects – All team members should ideally use the same language version to avoid attribute name mismatches.
