The library is a massive collection of traditional and modern string textures captured over 25 years. It includes a diverse array of instruments beyond standard violins:
Microtuning System
: An advanced system allows for quarter-tone performances, essential for accurately playing Middle Eastern scales (maqams).
- Scripting Overhaul: The legato transitions are now buttery smooth. The original had a slight "bump" when switching between notes; v2.0 feels responsive, almost like a physical instrument.
- Articulation Management: They’ve introduced a key-switch system that actually makes sense. Red keys for short articulations, blue for longs.
- The "Microtuner" 2.0: This is the secret sauce. Eastern music relies on quarter-tones (Maqam). The new built-in microtuner allows you to save custom scales per instance. Need to switch from Rast to Bayati in the middle of a run? You can automate it.
