Abstract

Many Rainmeter users hide the Windows taskbar entirely. Big Sur RC1 offers a replacement top menu bar featuring:

Core Widgets:

• Reposition widgets: Drag any widget by its top edge (not the center).
• Edit variables: Right-click → Edit Skin → change values inside [Variables] section.
• Toggle Control Center: Hover near top-right corner of the screen, or bind a hotkey via Rainmeter’s Manage window.
• Use without blur: If acrylic blur causes lag, open @Resources\Styles.inc and change BlurType=2 to BlurType=0.
• Add custom app icons: Place 64×64 PNGs in @Resources\Images\Dock\ and edit Dock\Dock.ini.
