Applications of DC E2H

• RP (Reaction Point) – in the NIC: scales rate down on ECN-CE marks using a programmable alpha/beta filter.
• NP (Notification Point) – in the switch: marks packets based on queue threshold (Kmin, Kmax).
• Timers : Min rate (p_ min), reset timer (50ms typical), byte counter for rate recovery.
