Report: Downloading and Installing Brother ControlCenter4 on Windows 11

1. Double-click the downloaded installer (.exe).
2. If prompted by User Account Control, choose Yes.
3. Follow on-screen prompts: accept license, choose Typical or Custom install.
4. If the installer includes drivers, allow them to install.
5. Restart PC if prompted.

1. Go to Settings > Apps > Installed Apps.
2. Uninstall any entry labeled "Brother Control Center 4" or "Brother Software."
3. Uninstall "Brother Scanner Driver" and "Brother Printer Driver."
4. Restart Windows 11.
5. Re-download the Full Driver Package from Brother (see steps above). The installer will automatically reinstall CC4.

Do not download just the “Scanner Driver.”

Here is the common mistake: Control Center 4 is not a standalone program for most models; it comes bundled inside the “Full Driver & Software Package” (sometimes called the “Recommended” or “Driver Installer”).
