- Weight limit: Most Equatech mounts for 32-100 inches support up to 110 lbs (50 kg). Check your kit. A 100-inch TV can weigh 120+ lbs. Do not exceed the limit.
- Wall type: This mount is for solid concrete or wood studs only. Do not install on drywall alone, plaster, or cinderblock without proper anchors.
- Children safety: Even with a lock, do not let children hang on the TV. Use an anti-tip strap if you have toddlers.
- Attach the TV plate to the back of the TV, following the manufacturer's instructions.
- Ensure the plate is securely fastened to the TV.
- Use the provided paper template or measure bracket hole spacing.
- Hold or temporarily tape the template to wall aligned to desired height and centered horizontally.
- Verify template is level.
- Mark pilot hole locations for lag bolts — ensure they land in stud centers (minimum two studs recommended). For masonry, mark anchor positions.
- Drill pilot holes: wood studs (1/8" to 3/16" bit depending on lag size), masonry (use masonry bit sized for supplied anchors).
- Position wall plate; attach using lag bolts with washers into studs. Tighten until snug — do not crush wall or over-torque.
- For masonry, install anchors first, then fasten bolts into anchors.
