• Noise Suppression: Essential. Removes fan hum and keyboard clicks. Enable this first.
• Acoustic Echo Cancellation (AEC): Prevents your own voice from looping through speakers. Keep ON.
• Mic Boost: +10dB to +30dB. Use sparingly. The F998’s preamp is noisy; +30dB adds a hiss.
• Playback (Sidetone/Mic Monitoring): Lets you hear your own voice in the headset. Slide to 20% – this prevents yelling unconsciously.

• No Sound? Check your Sound Control Panel. Often the computer defaults to the internal speakers. You must manually select "USB Audio Device" or "F998" as the output.
• Microphone not working? Ensure the 3.5mm jack is plugged into the correct port (usually marked with a microphone icon) on the sound card.
