The Conflict

: Unlike previous villains who sought global power, Dante’s sole goal is to make Dom suffer by systematically targeting every member of his family. This pursuit scatters the crew across various global locations, including Rome, London, Brazil, and Antarctica. Cast and Production Fast X

  • The Rome Bombing: A massive, multi-stage chase involving a spherical explosive device rolling through the ancient streets. Dom uses his car to redirect the bomb toward the Tiber River, creating a spectacular, fireball-filled water geyser.
  • The Rolling Bomb in London: A sequence that rivals Fast Five’s vault drag. This time, Dom’s car is attached to two massive, rolling bombs. The practical effects work is notable, with real cars and explosions.
  • The Hydrofoil Chase: Tej and Roman commandeer a remote-controlled hydrofoil boat, leading to a chase sequence that defies logic but delivers high-speed thrills.
  • The Dam Jump: Dom drives his Dodge Charger off a collapsing dam in Portugal—but not before his car is magnetically attached to a helicopter. The jump involves a 720-degree roll and a landing down a near-vertical dam wall.
  • The Antarctic Submarine Battle: The climax shifts to a frozen reservoir behind a dam in Antarctica. Dom’s Charger, equipped with snow tracks and rockets, races across ice while a nuclear submarine (piloted by Dante) emerges. The sequence involves cars outrunning a laser-guided missile and a cliffside explosion that seemingly kills a major character—only for a mid-credits scene to reveal otherwise.
