(FCP7) was a professional video editing application released by Apple on July 23, 2009, as part of the Final Cut Studio 3 bundle. It is widely considered a "legacy" application because it was the last major version to feature a traditional "track-based" timeline before Apple transitioned to the Magnetic Timeline in Final Cut Pro X.
