The story of the original (2011) follows Rehan , a real estate agent sent to Shimla to finalize the sale of an old mansion called Glen Manor . Upon arrival, he encounters supernatural events and discovers a letter from 1936 written by Meera Sabharwal , who was held captive in the house by her evil piano teacher, Professor Iyer . Rehan eventually travels back in time to 1936 to save Meera from the professor's curse, ultimately freeing her soul from the house.
