How to Update Serum in FL Studio: The Ultimate Step-by-Step Guide (Windows & Mac)
1. Check Your Current Serum Version
Splice Rent-to-Own:
Open the Splice Desktop App, navigate to Apps & Plugins , and find Serum to see if an "Update" button is available. 2. Download and Install the Update

If you are still paying off Serum or bought it through Splice, use the desktop app. : Launch the Splice Desktop App .
- Open FL Studio.
- Open the Plugin Manager (
Options > Manage plugins). - Click "Find plugins." FL Studio will scan
/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/automatically.
- Once the scan is complete, click Window > Plugin Picker (or press
F8). - Locate Serum in the list. It should now reflect the updated version.

Delete Old Files
: Close FL Studio, go to that specific path in Windows Explorer/Finder, and manually delete Serum.dll or Serum_x64.dll .
