Note:

ArcGIS 10.8 is the final release of the legacy ArcMap software. It is a 64-bit application but is strictly compatible with Windows operating systems. If you are using macOS or Linux, you must use a Virtual Machine or Parallels Desktop.

  • ArcGIS 10.8 bundles Python 2.7.18 (legacy) and a separate Python 3.x for ArcGIS Pro compatibility.
  • Accept the default: C:\Python27\ArcGIS10.8.
