Install the emulator: Unzip the downloaded file. No system-wide Java ME SDK is required.

Run the emulator: Launch the emulator executable.

Load the app: Inside the emulator, browse to your .jar file. The emulator simulates a phone’s Java ME environment and runs the app immediately.

Safe sources ONLY:

Oracle has deprecated the official Java ME SDK. No modern smartphone ships with Java ME.
Open source alternatives like FreeJ2ME (based on libretro) and SquirrelJME are the only ways to preserve and run old javax.microedition software.

White screen: Disable "Hardware acceleration" in J2ME Loader settings.
Slow performance: Lower the frame rate limit to 30 FPS.
