After breaking the rules of the calls, his life falls apart as the voice turns vengeful, leading to his isolation and a return to despair. The climax reveals that Karthik suffers from Dissociative Identity Disorder, with the phone calls being a manifestation of his own subconscious mind, leading him to seek treatment and finally gain control over his mental health.
