Koikatsu is a masterpiece of character customization, but it is notoriously prone to instability once you start adding mods, plugins, and high-resolution assets. If your game is closing to desktop without an error message or freezing during character loading, you aren't alone.

1) Quick checklist (try these first)

• Recommendation: Re-run the HF Patch installer and select "BepInEx 64-bit (Experimental)" if you have more than 16GB of system RAM.

• Open the scene file (.png or .json) in Notepad++. Search for animator. Look for a string like "name":"MyCustomAnim".
• Install the missing animation pack, or delete the offending object from the scene using a text editor (advanced users only).
