• The Puzzle: Five stone pillars surround the Idol. Each has a carved symbol (wave, skull, eye, serpent, sun). The correct order to press them (by bumping your boat into them) is shown on the Map Fragment from Part 2. Without the fragment, you must deduce:

  1. From the Hermit’s hut, go east to the Mushroom Grove. Collect 3x Glowcaps.
  2. Go north to the Boar Trap. Use the wrench to spring it safely. Loot Stringy Meat.
  3. Crucial New Step: You cannot cook over a normal fire. You need the Geothermal Vent behind the Hermit’s hut.
  4. Combine Glowcaps + Stringy Meat in your inventory. Then select "Use at Vent." This creates Steamed Lagoon Surprise.
  5. Trade the meal to the Hermit for the Rusted Key (opens the floodgates).
