Step 1: Know Your Interface Generation
- Disable Antivirus Temporarily: Some antivirus programs flag Texa’s driver-level access as a false positive. Disable real-time protection during installation only (re-enable after).
- Run as Administrator: Right-click the installer file and select Run as Administrator.
- Accept the License: Read the EULA (End User License Agreement) and accept.
- Select Installation Path: The default is
C:\Texa\IDC5. If you have an SSD, install it there for faster loading times. You need at least 50 GB of free space. - Driver Installation: When Windows asks, "Do you want to allow this app to make changes?" click Yes. The installer will load the USB drivers for your Texa interface.
- Connect the Hardware: Plug in your Texa IDC5 interface via USB. Do not connect it via Bluetooth during the initial setup.
- Reboot: After the installation finishes, restart your PC.
- If you own a licensed interface, you have a serial number and a registered email.
- Enter your credentials. If you have forgotten your password, use the "Recover Password" feature.
- Note for new users: You cannot download the software without a valid subscription or hardware key registration.
