- Lower the extruder mount: Unscrew the extruder motor from its bracket. Insert the 4mm spacers between the motor and the mounting plate. This drops the entire hotend assembly downward by 4mm.
- Check probe clearance: If you have an inductive probe or BLTouch, verify it still reaches the bed. You may need to print a 3mm offset shim for the probe.
