  1. Lower the extruder mount: Unscrew the extruder motor from its bracket. Insert the 4mm spacers between the motor and the mounting plate. This drops the entire hotend assembly downward by 4mm.
  2. Check probe clearance: If you have an inductive probe or BLTouch, verify it still reaches the bed. You may need to print a 3mm offset shim for the probe.
