Step 2: How to Update
If you are on Version 1.0, you can no longer access the Nintendo 3DS eShop (as it has been discontinued) to download the patch officially. However, if you have a modded 3DS or previously downloaded the update data to your SD card before the eShop closure, the game will automatically detect it.
- Fixed the “Mauville City Glitch” where NPCs would duplicate after using Fly.
- Fixed the “Pomeg Berry Corruption” exploit (no longer allows underflow glitches to create Bad Eggs).
- Nerf: Parental Bond now deals 25% damage on the second hit (was 50%) in competitive/local battles to match Gen 7+ standards.
- Buff: Solar Beam now has 100% accuracy (was 85%) under harsh sunlight.
