Service Pack 3 (SP3)
When you install Crystal Reports XI R2, the initial release key works fine. However, after you apply or Service Pack 4 (SP4) , the installer may ask for a different product key. This is because service packs sometimes require an updated licensing DLL. Solution: You generally do not need a new key. Instead, you need to re-enter your original key after the update.
