What is RadioCodeDatabase V20?

  • CAN-Bus integrated radios that store code in the vehicle’s BCM, not the head unit.
  • Support for VIN-based code generation (already available in paid tools like Abrites or AVDI).
  • A lightweight Android version for mobile diagnostic use.

Running on Windows 10/11:

  1. Expanded Model Coverage: V20 adds support for late 2010s and early 2020s head units from manufacturers like Mitsubishi (connected to PSA group), newer Ford Sync modules, and Chinese-market radios re-exported to Europe and the Americas.
  2. Faster Serial Calculation: The algorithm has been optimized. What took 10–15 seconds in V19 now takes under 5 seconds in V20.
  3. Bug Fixes from V19: Previous versions had issues with Bose-equipped Mazda radios (error code 0000). V20 explicitly addresses this.
  4. Improved GUI: The interface remains simple (a hallmark of the tool), but V20 introduces clearer error messages and a dark mode for extended workshop use.
  5. Offline Verification: The new version includes a checksum validator to ensure the entered serial number matches the radio’s internal cryptography before generating a code.
