Recuva v1.53: Setup and First Steps

• Official source: Download only from the developer’s official site (Piriform / CCleaner) or a reputable software repository you trust.
• Choose the correct installer for your Windows version (32-bit vs 64-bit). Most modern Windows installations are 64-bit.
• Prefer the portable ZIP build if you want a non-install, single-session run.

Warning:

Never install Recuva on the same drive or partition where your lost files were located. Doing so could physically overwrite the "deleted" data. If you lost files on Drive C, install Recuva on a USB stick or a secondary Drive D. How to Use the Recuva v1.53 Wizard
