The process of rooting and installing TWRP on the Samsung Galaxy A20 (SM-A205)
- Power off your Samsung Galaxy A20 (SM-A205) completely.
- Press and hold the Volume down, Volume up, and Power buttons simultaneously for a few seconds to enter Download mode.
- If TWRP asks to modify system or install a no‑verity/no‑encrypt package, allow as appropriate for your Android version.
- Optional: Format data if encryption prevents TWRP access (this will erase data).
- Install Magisk: Either patch boot image offline and flash, or sideload/install Magisk zip via TWRP.
- Backup Your Data: TWRP installation requires wiping
/data(factory reset). Copy photos and files to a PC or SD card. - Unlock Bootloader: This is mandatory.
- Boot to Download Mode: Power off the device. Hold Volume Up + Volume Down and connect the USB cable. When the warning screen appears, press Volume Up to continue to Download Mode.
- Open Odin: Run Odin3.exe as Administrator on your PC.
- Load Files:
