The plot is a murder mystery set in a small, traditional vegetarian restaurant in a rural village. It centers on two primary characters whose lives unexpectedly collide:

What is Shakahari Bhabhi?
- Collectivism over Individualism: Decisions (career, marriage, purchases) often involve the entire family, not just the individual.
- Respect for Elders (Buzurg): Elders are consulted for advice, blessings, and conflict resolution. Their presence is considered a family’s strength.
- Joint & Extended Families: While urban nuclear families are rising, multi-generational homes remain common. Even nuclear families live close to relatives.
- Hospitality (Atithi Devo Bhava): “Guest is God.” Dropping in unannounced is normal, and offering tea/snacks is mandatory.
- Rituals & Spirituality: Daily prayers, fasts (vrat), and festivals punctuate secular life.
