- You move along a horizontal line (a lane).
- Enemies spawn on the same line, each with a unique attack pattern displayed via a "tick" timer above their heads.
- You play tiles (attacks, movements, or buffs) from your hand.
- Survive the encounter, buy upgrades, and face the "Shogun" at the end of the run.
New players hoard attack tiles. Veterans hoard movement tiles. The "Walk Back" tile (timer 1) is the most powerful defensive tool in the game.
