• Remove DA (Download Agent) authentication
• Bypass certain security checks
• Add custom loaders for specific or locked devices
• Include preconfigured settings or patches

1. Identify your chipset – Use MTK Droid Tools or CPU-Z.
2. Download official SP Flash Tool v5.2408 from Hovatek or GitHub.
3. Obtain the correct DA file from your stock ROM (scatter file folder).
4. Install MediaTek USB VCOM drivers (disable driver signature enforcement on Windows).
5. Use MTK Bypass Utility (Python) to disable SLA/DAA on newer chips.
6. Load scatter file, select “Download Only” (never Format All unless backup exists).
7. Connect powered-off phone – volume up + volume down + USB.
8. Flash – wait for green check mark.
