Install process

  1. Burn to USB: Use Rufus (free tool) to write the ISO to a USB stick (4 GB or larger). Use "MBR partition scheme for BIOS or UEFI-CSM."
  2. Boot from USB: Insert the USB into your target PC and boot from it (press F12, ESC, or DEL during startup).
  3. Partition: The installer is extremely fast. You will reach the partition screen in under 1 minute. Delete any existing partitions (warning: erases data) and click "Next."
  4. Installation Speed: On a SATA HDD, installation takes 8–12 minutes. On an SSD, as little as 4 minutes.
  5. Out-of-Box Experience (OOBE): The setup will ask for a username and computer name. Because it's pre-activated, you likely won't be asked for a product key.
  6. First Boot: Upon reaching the desktop, install drivers (network, chipset, graphics). Tiny 7 lacks many drivers, so have a separate USB with your drivers ready.

Unlike a standard Windows 7 installation which requires roughly 16–20 GB of disk space, Tiny7 is optimized for extreme efficiency:
