• Controversy: Upon release in 1992, right-wing groups in India vandalized theaters, protesting a Japanese studio "colonizing" the epic. This killed the theatrical run instantly.

The Verdict:

The Torrent UPD community is currently the only source for the uncensored, 4K upscaled, original English dub. It is a textbook case of abandonware/preservation.
