Mod Minecraft Bedrock Install | Tsunami

Installing a tsunami mod (often called an "Add-on") in Minecraft Bedrock is a popular way to introduce massive natural disasters and survival challenges to your game. Unlike Java Edition mods that require complex loaders like Forge, Bedrock mods typically come in .mcaddon or .mcpack formats that integrate directly with the game. Step 1: Download a Compatible Tsunami Add-on

Each add-on works differently. Common methods: tsunami mod minecraft bedrock install

Installation steps (standard add-on method) Installing a tsunami mod (often called an "Add-on")

Behavior Packs

Scroll down to the and Resource Packs sections. Select the Tsunami pack and click Activate . Enable Experimental Features : Pack not appearing: check manifest

  • Pack not appearing: check manifest.json pack id and version; ensure folder structure is correct (pack folder directly inside behavior_packs/resource_packs).
  • Crashes on world load: disable the pack, check for required experimental settings, ensure pack version matches game version.
  • Tsunami features not triggering: verify any required commands, triggers, or structure blocks included with the add-on; consult the add-on documentation for activation commands or items.
  • Performance problems (lag): tsunamis can be resource-heavy — reduce render distance, lower simulation frequency, or use a smaller world.

Step 7: Enjoy the Tsunami Mod!

  • "Import Failed" error: This usually means the mod is outdated or incompatible with your current version of Minecraft. Check the mod's download page to see which game version it supports.
  • The world is safe, but nothing happens: Ensure you are in Creative Mode. Many mods disable disaster features in Survival mode to prevent accidental base destruction.
  • Console Players (Xbox/PS): You cannot manually install .mcaddon files from the internet on consoles due to system restrictions. You must use the official Marketplace.

Backup Your World:

Most tsunami mods are "unstoppable" once they start. Always test the mod on a new world first, as the water can permanently bury or destroy your builds.

Most Tsunami mods do not create a tsunami automatically. You usually have to trigger it:
