Step 3: Download & Activate Plugins

Note : Native plugins often use "iLok Cloud," which requires an active internet connection to authorize without a physical USB dongle. Manage Licenses : Go to the UAD Plug-Ins tab.

  • UAD-2 or UAD-3 DSP Accelerator Card: If you're planning to use multiple UAD plugins, consider investing in a UAD-2 or UAD-3 DSP accelerator card to ensure smooth plugin performance.
  • UAD Plugin Compatibility: Check the UAD plugin compatibility list to ensure that your chosen plugin is compatible with your DAW and operating system.

  • Owned: If you purchased a plugin or bundle, it will appear here as authorized.
  • Demo: You can click the "Demo" button on many plugins to try them for 14 days for free.
  • Custom Bundle: If you own a UAD-2 Satellite or Apollo, you may need to "create" a custom bundle to authorize your specific plugins to the hardware.
