Wittmann Tempro Plus D 360 Manual
Wittmann Tempro Plus D series represents a high-end line of pressurized water temperature control units (TCUs) designed for precision mold temperature regulation in plastic injection molding. While specific documentation for a "360" model number may refer to regional variants or older 360V electrical configurations, the Tempro Plus D operating logic remains consistent across the series. WITTMANN Group Core Specifications & Features Temperature Range: Models in this series handle temperatures typically up to 140°C, 160°C, or 180°C Precision Control: Equipped with a microprocessor controller achieving ± 0.2 °C accuracy Interface: Features a 5.7" color touch-screen
The mold began to sweat. Condensation droplets evaporated off the A-side. The D 360’s pump changed pitch—from a struggling cough to a smooth, powerful drone. The digital readout flickered: Set: 190°F / Actual: 188.6°F … 189.2°F … 190.0°F. It held. It locked. Wittmann Tempro Plus D 360 Manual
6.3 Standby / ECO Mode
- Close the manual drain valve (if installed).
- Connect a hose from a water supply (max 6 bar) to port E (FILL/DRAIN).
- On the touchscreen: Menu > Maintenance > Fill system.
- The internal fill valve opens; watch the fill level indicator on screen.
- When the level reaches “OK,” the pump starts automatically at low speed.
- Run the pump for 2 minutes, then tap Air Purge – the unit opens the cooling outlet briefly to release trapped air.
- Repeat air purge until flow is stable (no bubbles in sight glass on the rear).
Important Safety Warning from the Manual:
Never open the electrical panel without isolating the main power for 10 minutes. The internal DC bus capacitors retain lethal voltage even after the main switch is turned off. Wittmann Tempro Plus D series represents a high-end
