Introduction to Zammad Addons

Recent additions to the Zammad toolkit focus on automation, communication, and data visibility:

• WhatsApp Business API addon (official or premium) – Two-way messaging with media support.
• Voice call logging addon – Integrates with SIP/VoIP providers to auto-create tickets from calls.
• Multi-branch SLA addon – Different SLAs per customer group, ticket type, and timezone.

• What it does:

  Released: April 2026

  • Use case: Close 500 tickets older than 90 days, but only if the customer never replied and the status is "pending close."
  • Security update: Now includes an "Undo" log and requires 2FA confirmation for bulk deletions.
