Firmware Update Procedure
The ZLT P21 is a versatile 4G LTE Category 4 indoor CPE (Customer Premises Equipment) that supports high-speed data connectivity up to 150 Mbps . Updating the firmware is a critical maintenance task to resolve software bugs, enhance security protocols, and potentially unlock new features like "openline" (network unlocking) .
- Backup current settings (if available in the web interface).
- Note your current APN, Wi-Fi SSID/password, and admin credentials.
- Use a wired (Ethernet) connection if possible — wireless updates carry a higher risk of failure.
- Do not power off or disconnect the device during the update.
- Ensure the downloaded firmware file matches your device’s exact model (check label on the back: ZLT P21, P21G, P21E, etc.).
- Click Choose File or Browse and select the downloaded firmware file.
- Click Upgrade or Update.
- A warning will appear – confirm to proceed.
