The community has recently reported that popular third-party DLC unlockers, such as KoalaGeddon , have been effectively patched out as of mid-December 2025 and into early 2026 . This change coincided with major content updates, most notably the high-profile crossover with The Walking Dead released on January 29, 2026. Status of DLC Unlockers

  • Old tools (v1.4 - v2.0): Load into the game, but skins reset after every match. Weapons revert to default.
  • New "paid" unlockers: Scams. Numerous Reddit threads r/wwz confirm that post-patch, 100% of advertised unlockers are malware or keyloggers.
  • CreamAPI (Steam DLC crack): No longer functions due to the new server token handshake.

Check the rewards; the displayed weapon skin should change. Complete the mission solo while offline.

The weapon of choice for these players was the infamous — a third-party cheat tool that bypassed server-side entitlement checks, granting users access to every paid DLC (Explosive Ammo packs, Biohazard skins, Lobo weapon packs, and even the Aftermath expansion classes) for free.
