FIGHT
To win the fight on a Pacifist run, you must ironically until his HP is nearly depleted, as he destroys the "MERCY" button at the start of the encounter. Once his health is low, he will kneel, allowing you to finally choose the "MERCY" option. Preparation & Gear
The Sparing Threshold:
Once Asgore is at critical HP (on his knees), the simulator should replace the broken button with a functioning "Spare" option, leading to the final dialogue. 2. Stat Manipulation (The "Talk" & "Pie" Triggers)
- Pace of the Game: The game is turn-based, with each turn representing a moment in the fight scene.
- Health and Integrity: You have two main stats:
- Asgore is not a villain. He is a dad who made one terrible promise in a moment of grief and spent a century too afraid to take it back.
- Mercy is hard. It’s harder than pressing "Fight" because it requires you to absorb pain without retaliating.
- The game lies to you. It simulates a happy ending (Asgore spares you), only to show you the real truth—that some tragedies can only be fixed by going back (to the save file) and trying a different path (True Pacifist ending).
- No EXP: You must have killed nothing.
- The Dates: You must have completed the "dates" with Papyrus, Undyne, and Alphys.
- The Mercy: You must have spared Flowey in a previous run (or he simply won't appear to give you the hint).
